Carmen Stokes PhD, RN, FNP-BC, CNE Program Coordinator

Professor Stokes has a passion for socialization of the beginning nursing student to the profession and the transition of the senior/ graduate nursing student to the role of professional nurse. Professor Stokes maintains clinical practice as a FNP, and remains involved in efforts to nurture student diversity, development and success in nursing school, as well as the profession. SHe sits on several community boards, contributing to efforts around public health, cardicovascular health, and the nutrition and fitness of children (to prevent obesity). Jill Turner, Librarian Consultant

Provides reference services, instruction in database searching and research skills instruction. Her collection development areas include Nurse Anesthesia, Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, Doctor of Nursing Practice, and Health Systems Management. Jill holds a B.S. degree in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh and a Masters of Library and Information Science from Wayne State University. She joined the University in 2010.
